John Winslow Evans Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Winslow Evans of Ivins, Utah, who passed away on December 10, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leland Evans; his former wife Vicki; his mother Hortense Evans; his siblings, LeLand, Shirley, Janice, Renee, Jerry and Marcia; and his son Michael Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Virgie Lyman; his daughters, Connie Lou Christensen and Glenna Jean Wolley; and his stepchildren, Pam Worthen, Terry Chivers and Vicki.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ivins 10th Ward Chapel (25 W Center St, Ivins, UT 84738). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Tonaquint Cemetery (1777 S Dixie Dr, St. George, UT 84770).
