Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jay Morrill Smith of Ivins, Utah, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away at the age of 98, on January 28, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Morrill Smith and Ivy Marie Mellen Smith; his sisters, Yvonne and Shirley; his former spouses, Della Baldwin (Peggy) and Reneé Schlehuber; his wife Vicky Fletcher; and his stepsons, Kent and Wayne.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer (Sabrina), Roger (Janet) and Steven (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Laura, Anita, Jason, Roger, Heidi, Alisa and Jonathan. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, three stepchildren and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Southern Utah Veterans Home Nurse Education fund.
