He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Gabriel and Juanita Lasater Kjelstrom; his siblings, Clarence Kjelstrom (Dorothy), Marvin Kjelstrom (Mary), Allan Kjelstrom (Janice), Verdell Memmott (Gene), Juanita Fay Thim (Clyde) and Shirrill Watnes (Ben); and his son Patrick Kjelstrom (Joanne).
He is survived by: his wife Becky Newman-Kjelstrom of Ivins, UT; his daughters, Dawn Shearer (Stan) of Needville, TX and Heidi Leonard (Darrell) of Huntsville, TX; his stepchildren, Lyle Newman II (Kim) of Hooper, UT, Gina Long (Michael) of Layton, UT, Scott Newman of Las Vegas, NV and Martin Newman (Mikayla); and his siblings, Carol Bray (Cliff), Gayle Wright (Ray) and Lynn Kjelstrom (Beth) of Kansas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
