He was predeceased by: his parents, Elman Taylor Child and Ruth Elizabeth Bates Child; and his siblings, Theresa (Tess), Elman Lawrence, Ruth Afton, Donna Gene, Grant Bates, Clyde Rawson and Beverly Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Grace Stahl; and his children, Michael Lee Child (Monica), James Edward Child (Jamie), Peggy Sue Carpenter (Troy) and Cathy O'Ann Bushnell (Keith). He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Metcalf Mortuary (288 W St George Blvd, St. George, UT 84770). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ivins City Cemetery (200 W 400 N, Ivins, UT 84738).
