He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hilary and Ruby Wilson Olsen of Hyrum; and his siblings, Wayne, Merle Ross, Afton (Green), Gene Vernon, Ruby Eileen (Schultz), Iris Bee (Andrews), Marian Elaine (McFarland), Marva Lou (Richardson), Gaylon Hilary, Violent Faye and Sondra (Alvis).

He is survived by: his friend Patti.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (310 N 800 E, Hyrum, UT 84319).
