He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Gentile and Richard Richards; his son Jeremy; and his grandchildren, Marley and Macey.

He is survived by: his children, Joshua Richards of Albany, Oregon and Jessica Richards of Hurricane, Utah. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two sisters.
