He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Ivan Tharp and Lillian Mae Smith. He is survived by: his wife Dori Ann; his children, Marc Tharp (Stacy), Kimberly McLaws (Brian), David Tharp, Adam Tharp (Dominique), Anne Adams (Daniel), Laura Bench (Lincoln), Paul Tharp (Aryn) and Jonathan Tharp (Lauren); and his brothers, Glen (Lisa) and Gary (Susan). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren.
