It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton Bernard Hughes (Hurricane, Utah), who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Phil B. Hughes; and his former wife Cindy Peterson. He is survived by: his mother Sharen Hughes; his wife Amy Hughes (Singles Dance); his sons, Brandon, Tanner (Maddy), Daniel (Briahna), Russell (Alyssa) and John; and his brothers, Jeff (Tammy), Kary (Carol), Cory (Rachel), Ricky and Clay. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (452 N 2600 W, Hurricane, UT 84737). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
His life was a shining example of charity and selflessness, and he had a rare gift for bringing people together, creating joy, and spreading light in a world that often felt dark and difficult.
