He was predeceased by: his parents, Arza Paul and Alta Paul. He is survived by: his wife Bella Paul; his daughter Michelle Paul; his sister Ina Young; his children, Jordan, Barbara, Carmelino, Nikki, Ezra, Gordon, Hannah, Isaac, Mimi, Karissa Liau and Sarah Mae Villarete Alano; his grandchildren, Theo, Ashira and Kitana Curtis; and his children, Deysaree Ka'ala Mamuad, Isabella and Marysel Alano. He is also survived by the nieces and nephews.
He also donated regularly to multiple charities, especially for those wounded in war, and for World War II veterans.
