He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Dee and Elna Delora Wayman Nielson; his daughter Shauna June Nielson; his brother Roy Lynn Nielson (Jane); and his brothers-in-law, Lavell "Red" Wilson and Earl Fillmore.
He is survived by: his wife Lorna Gail of Huntington, Utah; his children, Laura Lea Allred (Chad) of Wellington, Utah and Roger D. Nielson (Monique) of Wellington, Utah; and his sister Elna Mae Fillmore of Clawson.
