She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Edwin Tew and Leah Carolina Lundell; her husband William Edward McCandless; her children, Donald McCandless (Karen) and Sharon Pollaehne (Andy); and her siblings, Burton Edwin Tew Jr., William Frederick Tew, Norma Berntson and Lynette Tew.
She is survived by: her stepmother Mary LeRoy Tew; her sons, Wayne McCandless (Juanita) and Michael McCandless (Helen); her siblings, Jonathan Tew (Gloria) and Thomas Tew (Judy); and her sisters-in-law, Louise Tew and Sandra Tew. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
