It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LaVada Mae (Deakin) Bench (Howell, Utah), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Deakin and Lila Deakin; her son Keith; her husband George Kenneth Bench Jr.; her grandson Darrin; and her great grandchildren, Taggen and Lucy.
She is survived by: her children, David, Julia Johnson (Alan), Steven Bench (JoLyn), Brenda Ross (Fritz) and Jason Bench (Teri); her brother Bill Myers (Tami); and her sister-in-law Janet McBride (Ronald) of Smithfield, UT.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Howell LDS Church (16035 N 17400 W St, Howell, UT 84316). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Logan Cemetery (1000 N 1200 E, Logan, UT 84341).
