He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Chaney and Mildred Chaney; and his siblings, Ann Ragland, Larry Chaney, Leroy Chaney and Thomas Chaney.
He is survived by: his siblings, Geraldine Greathouse, James Chaney (Ruthie), Jannette Losee (Larry), Sue Hollis (Jessie) and Carla Borzeniatow; his wife Dora Mae Stoddard; his daughter Kellie Ann Isbell (Chris Isbell); his grandchildren, Kayte, Kenneth and Kennedy; his sister-in-law Emma Maxfield; and his son Scott Chaney.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, a cause that was close to William's heart.
