He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leslie and Diana Smoot Turner; his in-laws, Kenneth and Jasmine Thurgood; and his siblings-in-law, Donnell Thurgood, John Morrill, Ortiz Thompson, John Braithwaite and David Thurgood.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thurgood; his children, Melanie Gresham (Bret), Kimberly Finlinson (Grant) and Kenneth Turner (Karleen); his siblings, Diana Morrill, Shirley Thompson, Norma Braithwaite, James Turner (Joan) and Huck Turner (Jolaine); and his caregiver Maggie.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hooper Stake Center (5375 S 5900 W, Hooper, UT 84315). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:30 AM.
In leu of flowers the family requests that donations be given to ALS United Rocky Mountain.
