It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Marie Shafer (Hooper, Utah), who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Eluid Morfin (Lute); and her children, Leslie Checkman and Ashley Jessop. She is survived by: her significant other Monty Shafer; her mother Rebecca Morfin (Corinthian); her siblings, Lute II Morfin (Jan) and Linnie Figueroa (Rico); her son Trevor Shafer (Bob); her grandchildren, ZJanelle Wilkins (Gary), Alexis Jessop and Robert Vasser; and her great grandchild Asher Wilkins. She is also survived by step-sisters, uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces.
