He was predeceased by: his spouses, Patricia Kingston and Lois LaRee Christensen; and his sons, Jimmy Jones and Don Jones. He is survived by: his children, Michael R. Jones (Alison) of Hooper, Gary P. Jones of Harrisville and Lori Page Hill (Troy); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Natalie, Heidi, Ryan, Ashley, Garrett, Kyle and Aubree.
