He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenzo and Hatsumi; and his siblings, Kenji, Noby, Shigeo, Mary, Sachi and Kaneso.
He is survived by: his wife Kiyoko; his daughters, Frances (George) and Lisa; his grandson Alex; and his sisters-in-law, Frieda (Shigeo) and Sachi (Kaneso). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
