He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Chad, Casey and Shawn Cortes (Juan); his grandchildren, Ethan Cortes, Cooper Cortes and Autumn Cortes; his parents, James LaDell and Shelba Butterfield Steadman; and his siblings, Dellene Hill (Gary), Lillian Rabatin (Dale), Val Steadman (Marilyn), Lanell Wright (Charley) and Jalayne McKee (Troy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
