He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Fay and Eva Fay; his wife Patsy Faye Bryce; and his sister Donna. He is survived by: his children, Denise Rogers (Jack), Michael Reed (Susan), Mark Martindale (Cindy), David, Dennis II (Susan), Steven (Suzanne), Dublin, Darrin (Michelle), Jeffery, Kristy Roman (Chris) and Kenny. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
