She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Glissmeyer and Donna Glissmeyer; and her sisters, Annette, Bonnie and Kathleen.
She is survived by: her husband Brent G. Ovard; her children, Leena Ovard Anderson (Scott), Stephanie Cheryl Ovard Nay (Travis), Natasha Ovard, Hulst (Nathan) and HollyAnn Ovard Simkaitis (Ricardas); her grandchildren, Taylor, Rylie, Wade, Hannah, Sidney, Emma, Sarah, Rimantas and Renaldas; her great grandchildren, Yuri Exchange Students, Anita, Kirsi, Eeva, Susanne, Heike, Marianne, Benjamin, Camilla and Rafael; and her siblings, Sandra, Nancy, Stephen and Donald.
Her many talents included sewing, crafts, cooking, leadership programs and 4-H. In 2014, she received a Humanitarian Services Award from the Lions International Foundation.
