He was predeceased by: his parents, Millie Lindsay Murdock and Thomas Calvin Murdock; his wife Elizabeth Joan Vance; and his siblings, Calvin, Andy and Hope Clark.

He is survived by: his siblings, Doris Mahoney (Neil), Tom Murdock (Lois), Kathleen Campbell (Ohlan) and Lee Murdock (Barbara); his children, Eric, Shaun, Amy and Alisa; his grandchildren, Matthew, Javier, Taylor, Landon, Justice, Chance, Brittany, McKelle, Hayden, Aubrey and Kylee; and his great grandchildren, Bruce, Korbyn, Indy, Finn, Winnie, Aurora and Grant.
