She was predeceased by: her mother Joyce Viola Casper; her former husband Neil Duke; her son Paul Duke (Bummer); and her father William Casper. She is survived by: her husband Africa; her pet Muffy; her children, Gayla DiStefano (Kevin), David Duke and Wendy Bangerter (Kipp); her daughter-in-law Laurie Duke; her siblings, Grant Casper, Lola Carlile (Clay) and LaVern Ellis (Val); and her sister-in-law Eleanora Casper.
She made countless beautiful quilts and donated hundreds of them to the humanitarian effort.
