She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Augustus Bunot and Arva Alice McNeil Bunot; her husband Fred Houston; her son Joseph Gus Houston; and her siblings, Ken Bunot, Pauline Rees and Beverlee Henson.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Bates, Cathy Houston and Peggy Clark; her daughter-in-law Jill Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Bunot, Robert Henson and Don Baker. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
