The passing of Loa Shepherd of Heber City, Utah leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Loa leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Loa may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Young and Lula Young (Mecham); her husband Roy Turner Shepherd; and her granddaughters, Rebecca and Lisa.
She is survived by: her children, Clinton Roy Shepherd (Nedra), Patricia Ann Stoddard of Mesa, AZ and Sherry Hodges (Dan) of Albuquerque, NM; and her siblings-in-law, Ellen Young of Pleasant Grove, UT, Jean Shepherd and Wes Shepherd. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Wallsburg Round Valley Ward Chapel (494 W Main Canyon Rd, Wallsburg, UT 84082). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Orem City Cemetery (1520 N 800 E, Orem, UT 84097).
