She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard T. Backus and Thelma O. Backus; her sister Connie; and her husband Clayton. She is survived by: her former husband Robert Clift; and her children, Robert Jay Clift (Cathy), Lori Gayle Petersen (Jeff) and Johnna Schuler. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.
