He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Smith and May Smith; his wife LaNeva; and his son-in-law William Pacheco. He is survived by: his family, Sue, Matt Grizzle of Phoenix, AZ, Shirley, Wayne Carlston of Hurricane, UT, Sharon, Joe Webb of Lyman, WY, Steve, Barbara Smith of Evanston, WY, Sheldon Smith, Jason Fish of Farmington, NM, Stan, Emily Smith of Provo, UT, Shane and Jennifer Smith of Payson, UT. He is also survived by 7 children, dozens of grandchildren, great grandchildren and a recently born great-great grandchild.
The pinnacle of his Church service was rendered as an Ordinance Worker in the Provo Temple where he served until the Covid outbreak.
