He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton Nelson and Cleo Anderson Nelson; his brothers, Wayne (Phyllis), Chad, Reese, Ruel, Stanton (Marilyn) and Cliff (Karen); and his grandson Mace Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Rhea Caldwell; his sons, Ken (Leslee) of Redmond and Kirby (Leslie) of Redmond; and his siblings, Garn (Ida), Grace and Iris Hales (Don). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
