He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Hilyard and Virginia Clevenger Hilyard; his daughter Lynn Common; and his brothers, Larry and Tom.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Christensen; and his children, Larry Hilyard (Tawny), Dede (Jeff), Chuck (Erika), Kisten (Derrik), Kristie (Patrick) and Ryan (Justine). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Due to COVID-19 the services will be limited to family members.
