He was predeceased by: his parents, Erma Olsen Pickett and Merrill Pickett; and his siblings, Norma Pickett Jensen, Merrill Jerry Pickett and Louis Monte Pickett.
He is survived by: his children, Travis Pickett (Clara) of Gunnison, Deina Mitton (Mike) of Gunnison, Terron Pickett (Tera) of Gunnison and Tana Newton (Jesse) of Gunnison; and his sisters, Phyllis Pickett Jensen and Nada Ann Pickett Stillman. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
