He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Ellison and Dorothy Mae Morrell Taylor; his son Dexter Taylor; his grandson Brandon Taylor; and his siblings, Faye (Clyde Behunin), Berta (Kay Taft), Mell (Bonita Taylor), Arnold (Jaleen Taylor), Talmage (Veniece Taylor), John Brinkerhoff, Leo (Jeri Taylor), Glen Devoy Taylor, Loma (Eugene Blackburn), May Taylor, Maynard Erickson, Sheryl Taylor and Hyrum Taylor (Kay Taylor).

He is survived by: his wife Joan DeLeeuw of Fremont; his children, Garaldean Grundy (late Doug) of Loa, JoLynn Dangerfield (late Kim) of Riverton, Dixie (Bill Spencer) and JoDee (Chris Harker); his siblings, Blanch Brinkerhoff of Bicknell, JoAnn Erickson of Arizona and Dent Taylor of Arizona; and his sister-in-law Cora Mae Taylor of Fremont. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
