He is survived by: his daughter DeeLynn Hess DaCosta; and his grandchildren, Ana Celia Hess DaCosta, Jessica Hess Cannon, David Hess DaCosta, Rachel Hess DaCosta and Jeremy Hess DaCosta. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
