He was predeceased by: his siblings, Newell, Vonda Bastian, Jake Bastian, Keith Bastian, Myrtle Bair and Ernest Bastian; his brother-in-law George Cavanaugh; his children, Evelyn, David, Stephen and Julia; his grandchild Terry; and his great grandchild Zachary.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis M. Bastian; his sons, John A. Bastian and Kenneth D. Bastian; his grandchildren, Cindi, Juli, Kevin, Monica, Brenda, Heather, Randy and Kimberly; his sister Anna Marie Cavanaugh; and his sisters-in-law, Bette Bastian and Lorna Bastian. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
