He was predeceased by: his daughter Vanessa Stan; his brothers, Steve and Randy; and his parents, Tom Stam and Marjorie Stam.
He is survived by: his wife Trina Henry Stam; his sister Wendy Stam Saunders; his daughter Chelsey Poulsen; his stepchildren, Kevin Degelbeck, Kimberly Swensen and Mary Lang; his nieces, Tara, Tory, Nickie, Lacey, Jasmine, Jennifer, Amanda, Kristina and Mayla; and his pet Mugsy.
