He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Sorensen and Myrtle Sorensen. He is survived by: his children, Bret, Stephenie and Lizzy; his wife Marla Snow; his children, Valerie Sorensen, Mitch Larsen, Gracie, Jake, Isabel, Caroline, William, Wyatt and Tim Gatten; and his stepchildren, William, Tara Jensen, Jerika, Jayden, Maddox, Lindsay, TJ Turner, Aubrey, Jake Toombs, Chelsea and John Hunt.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made in his name to Utah State University School of Engineering in Logan, Utah.
