It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Newby in Glenwood, Utah, born in Monroe, Utah, who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh S. Newby and Harriet Lafevre Newby; his siblings, Lavar Newby, Calvin Newby, Quin Newby, Treva Henry, Teora Willis and Larene McCoard; his granddaughter Melyssa Washburn; and his great grandchild Jayden Johnivan Snyder.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Newby (Chrissy) of Richfield, Kenra Martinez (Waldo Jr.) of Glenwood and Allen Newby (Christy) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his sisters, Patricia Jones of Pocatello, Ruth Gates of Los Lunas and Callie Clark of Albuquerque. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, many family members and friends.
