He was predeceased by: his parents, Burke B. Sorensen and Elizabeth Heaton Sorensen; his sister Lillian Andrew; his son-in-law Neil Harris; and his sister-in-law Joyce Sorensen.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Sorensen; his children, Shane Sorensen (Tiffany), Jason, Colette Roundy (Travis), Ramona Chamberlain (Nathan), Susan Matheson (Cade), Benjamin Sorensen (Lisa), Joseph Sorensen (Shalisse) and Michelle Cox (Paul); his siblings, Lee Sorensen (Elaine), Jacque Glover (Jim), Claudia Walker (Dave), Harriett Perkins (Dilworth), Mack Sorensen (Tami), Mavis Hughes and Liz Chidester (Bret); and his brother-in-law Johnny Andrew. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
