With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice Wilcox (Garland, Utah), who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Maurice may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nordberg Wilcox (Althea Garn Wilcox) and Fielding; his brother Ronald G. Wilcox; his granddaughter Amanda Jo Whiteley; and his great grandchild Stetson Peterson.
He is survived by: his close friend Karen Wood Wilcox; and his children, Sheldon Wilcox (Diana), Dallen Wilcox (Linda), Diana Balling (Richard), Amy Jo Whiteley (Mitchell) and Jeremy Wilcox (Tiffany). He is also survived by "Papa", he is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fielding Stake Center (4375 W 15600 N, Garland, UT 84312). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Fielding Cemetery (17200 N 4400 W, Fielding, UT 84311).
