He is survived by: his former wife Louise Neilson; his wife Janet Della Lucia; his children, Gary Steed (Kim), Wendy Barker (Jeff), Jason Steed (Marlene) and Rena Fuller (Kurt); and his siblings, Cleve Steed (Sue) and Melba Woodward. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
