He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonardo Salazar and Gertrude Salazar of Garland, Utah.; and his sisters, Petra, Lola, Suzanne and Helen.

He is survived by: his siblings, Pauline and Leonard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
