He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Shaffer and Lucille Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife LaDawn; his children, Brian (Heidi), Brent (Colleen), Julie Hess (Larry) and Sherri Pali (Eli); and his siblings, LuAnn Anderson, Dan (Janeal), Jean Jones, Joyce Chambers (Larry), Susan Jensen and Ila Mae Woods (Reed). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 28 great grand grandchildren.
