He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ray Richardson and Harriett Lowrene Rowley; and his son Russell Alan Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his sisters, Marilyn, Jen and Barb Fields (Chuck); and his children, Clark (Stephanie), Gregg (Karen), Brad (Becki), Emily LeFevre (Brandon), Bryan Berglund (Jadene) and Rebecca Willey (Jon). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
