He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edward Shiffler, Sr. and Alma Hazel Neleigh; his brother William Howard Shiffler; his grandchildren, Bryce Albert Shiffler and Jennifer Allen; and his daughter-in-law Rozanne W. Shiffler.
He is survived by: his wife Thelda. He is also survived by four children.
