He was predeceased by: his parents, Lander Santio and Nema Appawoo; his stepfather Woodrow Appawoo; his siblings, Joylene Reed, Woodrow Ann Appawoo and Hamilton Bush; his daughter Levitta Santio; and his mother-in-law Deanna Penningjack.
He is survived by: his wife Denene A. Kane of Ft. Duchesne; his daughter Jennifer Santio; his adoptive daughters, Philisha Santio and Charity Santio; his stepchildren, Purcell Sisto (Leah), Lanette Sisto and Kasha Sisto; and his siblings, Adeania Bush, Irea Santio, Wade Santio, Elizabeth Tapoof (Joseph) and Chris Tabbee (Sophia). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
