He was predeceased by: his daughter Violet Marie Martinez; and his brother Ernest "Eddy" Martinez, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Ernest Edward Martinez, Sr. and Gloria Annette Grant Martinez; his children, Geovanni Martinez (Sonya), Bucky Reed, Avory Martinez, Shelby Martinez and Matthew Martinez; and his siblings, Sharen Martinez and Robert Eppy Martinez (Caroline Montoya). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
