It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Lee Longhair of Fort Duchesne, Utah, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Conetah and Rosella Myore Conetah; her husband Alvin James Longhair; her daughter Rossie Longhair; her grandchild Mahdison Lang; and her siblings, Marieanne Gardner, Rosanna Conetah, Bradley Conetah and John Conetah.
She is survived by: her children, Lelilah Longhair (Robert Pawinnee), Charlotte Longhair (Indian Bench), Tetona Longhair, Bradford Longhair (Indian Bench), Rainey Longhair (Kobi Reed) and Montie Poowegup (Indian Bench); her nieces and nephews, Quanah Poowegup, Shaun Girard, Vernal and Troy Gardner; and her siblings, Wilford Conetah of Myton, Francine Pete of Myton, Doug Conetah (Arvella) of Myton, Elko of Myton, Doyle of Myton, Ferdella Coneta of Myton, Amarallis Pinkham (Julian), Angela Shavanaux, Dorthea Garcia and Madeline Duncan. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
A wake was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Mary Lee Longhair Residence (4500 E & 3500 N, Utah 84026). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building (860 Small Loop Rd, Fort Duchesne, UT 84026).
