He was predeceased by: his parents, Jed L. Ashton and Norma Jean Ashton; and his sister Nina. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Haire (Saint); and his children, Ashley Jean Olsen (Mark), Hayley Lauren Ashton, Whitney Kate Ashton, Jay Thomas Ashton (Andrea), Nick Ashton (Laura), Courtney Judith Ashton and Abbey Jane Ashton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
He followed the Savior's example of humility, service, and charity.
