He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha Ione Beckwith (Sedgwick) and Dee LaVar Beckwith; his wife Christina Beckwith; his children, Dawnya (Sean Perry), Lisa (Jeff Mecham), Shawna (Mel Edwards), Lila (Mick Jackson), Jeena (Daniel Ortiz), Terra (Josh Kirk), Tony (Alaina LaVella) and Denise (Andre Rajote); and his siblings, Rio Varne Beckwith, Leo Demar Beckwith (Kim) and LaOne Nielsen. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

“I knew Jon Beckwith thru my mom Laone Beckwith. Jon had a wonderful personality and was someone you could look up to. Last time I saw Jon was when my son and I were coming back from Mesa, Arizona just after my mom Laone Beckwith had passed away in October 2014.
