She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva Black and Willis Eugene Black; her husband Mitchell Lamar Hodges; her siblings, Eugene, DeAun, Carol and Joyce; and her son-in-law Ted Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn Averett (Jerry), Connie Teeples (Craig), Tamra Peterson, Michael Hodges (Carma) and Nancy Orton (Jamie); and her siblings, Beth Frampton and Ben Black. She is also survived by her children, 17 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 20 great great grand children.
