He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Richard Peterson Sr. and Donna Cherrel Jacobsen Peterson; and his granddaughters, Harley and Bryndee Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Debora Peterson; his children, Rosie Peterson, Merrill Peterson (April), Matthew Peterson and Angie Peterson Settle (Grant); and his sisters, Connie Felice (Michael), Kathy Ursenbach (Brent) and Karen Jacobson (John). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Millsite Ward Chapel (35 W 200 N, Ferron, UT 84523). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the Ferron City Cemetery (300 E 200 N, Ferron, UT 84523).
