He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit and Velma; his brother Don; and his grandson Alec. He is survived by: his wife Janet Petersen; and his children, Jill Sevy (Jim), Jeff Petersen (Andrea), Kara Perry (Steve) and Chris Petersen. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
